Andy Cohen Teases the "Vanderpump Rules" Reunion: "A Real Reckoning"
Andy Cohen is sharing details about the highly anticipated "Vanderpump Rules" season 10 reunion, which will air sometime in late spring. The long-running series turned into must-see television when news broke in early March that longtime couple Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix had broken up after Madix learned that he had been having a months-long affair with fellow castmate Raquel Leviss. "Vanderpump Rules" cameras began rolling again in March to capture more footage, and the whole cast came together on March 23 to film the reunion, where Madix, Sandoval, and Leviss discussed the situation with the full cast, including Cohen and Lisa Vanderpump. On the April 3 episode of his "Radio Andy" radio show, Cohen said the reunion is "a real reckoning." Cohen also revealed some of what the reunion's format will entail. Before the whole cast came together, he sat down one-on-one to talk to Sandoval, Madix, and Leviss separately to get their accounting of what happened. He added that they were asked the same questions again in front of the group. Sandoval and Leviss, he said, are "confronted to their face about what they've done in, I would say, an aggressive manner." Cohen also said that he believes there will be extended coverage of the reunion on Peacock when the episodes air. "We shot a long time with the group. I do feel like you're going to get what you're looking for," he explained. Cohen, who said he is just the reunion host and not a producer on the series, also added that he watched the final seven episodes of the series on the plane on his way to film the reunion and that they're "jaw-dropping." Some of the show's cast members have also spoken out about what happens at the reunion. On the March 31 episodes of her podcast "Scheananigans," Scheana Shay and her castmate Lala Kent opened up about what went down. "I thought Ariana handled herself so well. Like, she sat back and looked insanely hot and amazing and just f*cking sliced with her words. So good. It was beautiful to watch," Kent said. Shay added, "So good. I really enjoyed watching that. It was just, there was no response, like, there was nothing Raquel could have said back to her because she just assassinated her every time." Shay also said that Leviss did not shed "a single tear" and Shay felt she had "no remorse." Leviss obtained a temporary restraining order against Shay early in March, accusing Shay of hitting her upon learning of the affair. It kept Shay and Leviss from filming together during the reunion, but on March 29, Leviss and her lawyer did not appear in court for the hearing about the order, and it was dismissed. Allegedly there was "almost" a physical altercation at the reunion as well, though no one has revealed between whom. Former "Pump Rules" cast member Jax Taylor shared what he heard about the filming with "Extra" on March 27, saying, "There was security there. There was almost brawls." "Vanderpump Rules" Season 10 Reunion Air Date We still don't know exactly when the reunion will air, but we can do some math. Cohen said there are seven episodes left before the reunion (we don't know how many will feature footage from the days after the scandal broke). But if Bravo continues to release one a week, the first reunion episode would premiere May 24. Related: Tom Sandoval Says "Hindsight's Always 20/20" When Questioned About Raquel Leviss Affair
