Isabela Ferrer Accuses Justin Baldoni of 'Harassing' Her Over Subpoena

It Ends With Us star Isabela Ferrer is fighting back at Justin Baldoni’s subpoena request, claiming the director and costar is “harassing” her.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Monday, August 18, Ferrer’s legal team claims Baldoni’s subpoena and subsequent motion are “transparent efforts to exert pressure on Ms. Ferrer.”

The actress, who played the younger version of Blake Lively’s character Lily in the 2024 Colleen Hoover adaptation, has asked the court to both deny Baldoni’s motion and impose sanctions on him.

“Baldoni has tried to manipulate, threaten, control and otherwise act inappropriately towards Ms. Ferrer,” Ferrer’s attorneys claim in court documents.

Ferrer’s response comes after Baldoni’s team filed court documents regarding the actress, claiming she was on set of It Ends With Us and is a material witness to Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni, 41.

Baldoni’s lawyer served a subpoena demanding Ferrer, 24, turn over “all documents relating to any discriminatory, harassing, retaliatory, inappropriate or unwelcome action, conduct or statement” made during production or post.

In response to Baldoni’s August 12 motion claiming that Ferrer has been unreachable and unresponsive, her legal team claims it’s “yet another attempt” for Baldoni “to harass” the actress and “draw her deeper into litigation and disputes that she has done her best to avoid.”

“Unfortunately, the Motion is just the latest in a broader pattern of conduct by Baldoni to bully Ms. Ferrer,” her attorneys argued in court documents. “While Ms. Ferrer will faithfully comply with her legal obligations under any subpoena, summons or court order, she obviously will not be intimidated or extorted by any party to otherwise participate in the proceedings.”

Furthermore, Ferrer’s legal team claims the delayed negotiation over Ferrer’s indemnity is a “transparent attempt to put financial pressure on” the actress.

Us has reached out to Baldoni and Ferrer’s team for additional comment.

Lively, 37, and Baldoni’s legal drama began in December 2024 when the actress accused her costar and director of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment and purposefully creating a smear campaign against her.

Lively proceeded to sue Baldoni and a series of other defendants, alleging that she was retaliated against for the sexual harassment allegations.

Baldoni strongly denied all the allegations against him and counter sued Lively, accusing the actress of extortion, defamation and more. (Lively denied the claims).

In his lawsuit against Lively, Baldoni accused her of telling Ferrer to shun him.

Ferrer and Lively appeared inseparable during the It Ends With Us international press tour and were often photographed together on the red carpet at various premieres.

“To be able to connect with the person that you’re sharing a role with is huge, and she’s just a really good person,” Ferrer told People when gushing about Lively in August 2024.

In June, a judge dismissed Baldoni’s lawsuit against Lively.

Lively’s case against Baldoni is tentatively scheduled to go to trial in March 2026.
