Keke Palmer's Kamala Harris Impression May Be Her Best One Yet
Almost two years after its inception, Kamala Harris's "We did it, Joe" clip congratulating the president after the election was called is still hilarious. Keke Palmer, who's proven to have a special talent for impersonating fellow celebrities, recently mimicked the vice president's viral moment on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." While chatting with Fallon about meeting Harris, Palmer broke into the spot-on impression, flawlessly executing the vice president's facial expression and huge smile. Earlier in July, Harris and Palmer sat down for a fireside chat at Essence Festival, where the two discussed the most critical issues facing Black women. But prior to kicking off the conversation, the "Nope" actor delivered her "We did it, Joe" impression, making the vice president laugh. "I love that [meme]. I had to tell her," Palmer told Fallon of the interaction. She added, "Her meme is my favorite." During her Fallon appearance, Palmer also chatted about her upcoming movie "Nope," as well as her famous "Sorry to this man" meme, which was born after the actor didn't recognize who former Vice President Dick Cheney was in a Vanity Fair lie-detector test video. Once again, we are manifesting Palmer hosting a future episode of "Saturday Night Live." Watch her impression around the two-minute mark above and Harris's original video below, and join us in our manifestations.
