My Spring and Summer Aesthetic Will Be "Old Money Chic"—30 Items I'm Looking At

There have been so many aesthetic trends that have taken over social media by storm. Cottagecore, barbiecore, mermaid core, gorp core, I could go on and on. But the one trend I have been seeing dominate my TikTok and Instagram feed is the “old money” aesthetic. The “Old money” aesthetic is all about classic, slightly preppy sense of style. Think Princess Diana, Blair Waldorf, tennis club memberships, Ralph Lauren everything, uptown New York chic. This look is all about quiet luxury, and I have decided after lots of research that this summer I was going to give it a shot myself. I mean why not, I look great in tweed, I could swap out my hoop earrings for some pearls and my pumps for Mary Janes and I’m already halfway there. There are  a few key pieces that every “old money aesthetic” closet has, a tweed jacket, a tennis skirt, white linen pants, and of course the perfect white and navy striped sweater that just screams “I’m on my way to the Hamptons.” Luckily for you I went on a deep dive at all of my favorite retailers and found all of the “old money aesthetic” pieces I was looking for and more.
