Teen Mom’s Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner Welcome Their 1st Baby

Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star Ryan Edwards and his fiancée, Amanda Conner, have plenty to celebrate with the arrival of their first baby together.

“Today is the day we welcomed our gift from God, Presley Sage Elianna Edwards,” the couple said in a statement to People on Wednesday, February 12. “We are truly blessed to welcome this beautiful healthy baby girl into our family.”

According to the publication, baby Presley was born at 6:15 a.m. weighing 7 lbs., 3 oz. and measuring 20 in.

“We have worked so hard to reach our goals and build a new life with all of our children,” Ryan and Amanda added. “We are looking forward to being a healthy happy family and are just deeply thankful for everyone’s love and support.”

Ryan is already the father of son Bentley, whom he welcomed with ex Maci Bookout in October 2008, as well as son Jagger and daughter Stella, whom he and estranged wife Mackenzie Edwards had in October 2018 and January 2020, respectively. Amanda, for her part, also has a son from a previous relationship.

Amanda confirmed her pregnancy via TikTok in October 2024. “Have you had any ‘morning’ sickness during your pregnancy?” one social media user wrote in the comments section of her video at the time. “Omg girl, I was so sick I thought I was gonna .. don’t know how I lived through both!! .”

Amanda replied, “Same!! This has been a rough pregnancy.”

Later that month, the couple — who have been dating since September 2023 — shared the sex of their baby in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. “It’s not out there completely, but it doesn’t have to be a secret,” Amanda said at the time. “We’re having a little girl, and I’m very excited and proud of it.”

Ryan then chimed in, “I’m very excited. I actually wanted a girl.”

The pair went on to share their hopes for their daughter, noting that they wanted to raise her to be respectful, have manners and value the truth.

“Honesty is one of my biggest things, honest about who you are, about who me and Ryan are, I want to be honest about that,” Amanda told Us. “I don’t want to hide anything from her. I’m going to be very cautious. I don’t want to be a helicopter mom, but I don’t want our child to go through anything that we’ve had to go through. I just want her to be very open to the world but strong-minded about certain things.”

The duo also revealed that they were open to sharing their pregnancy journey on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, though the MTV reality show had not been renewed at the time.

“If they continue filming, yes we are up for it,” Amanda said. “I hope they do continue. At this point, we don’t really know, but yes, if they come and ask us, we will be more than happy to share it. Fingers crossed.”

While both Ryan and Amanda have struggled with legal issues in the past, they told Us they were focused on their sobriety and a new path forward as they prepared to welcome their first baby together.

“People can change and we can do better,” Amanda noted. “People can fix themselves and do better. I just wish people could see that.”

Ryan added, “I think we’ve both come a very long way.”
