DWTS' Witney Carson Deletes Screenshot of Texts About Dylan and Zac Efron
Witney Carson caused a stir with her since-deleted messages to husband Carson McAllister about Dancing With the Stars’ Dylan Efron following his brother Zac Efron’s appearance in the ballroom.
While celebrating her and partner Robert Irwin’s season 34 win earlier this week, Witney, 32, shared a social media reel to show how supportive her husband had been all season long.
The reel, which has since been deleted, featured Carson applauding Witney for a “freaking good” performance with Robert, 21, earlier in the season, according to a screenshot shared by Page Six on Friday, November 28. However, it was the exchange below that caught fans’ attention.
“Zac Efron is here,” Carson, 32, texted his wife, referring to the actor, who attended the November 18 semifinals to cheer on younger brother Dylan, 33.

“I saw!” Witney texted back, teasing, “They are trying to get votes.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Witney’s rep for comment.
While fans debated whether Witney was throwing subtle shade at Dylan and pro partner Daniella Karagach, who were among the finalists on season 34, the pro seemed to squash speculation that she was at odds with her fellow competitors.

On Friday, Witney “took a moment to highlight each finalist” and their pro via her Instagram Story, including Dylan and Daniella, 32.
Witney shared a photo of the pair hugging on the plane to New York City after the DWTS finale on Tuesday, November 25, telling Daniella, “I’m always so inspired by you, you are an absolute beast — can you tell me how you managed to do the most incredible instant dance foxtrot?!!! WTF.”
She gushed over the fellow dancer, writing, “I’m so proud of you for being the best mama — I know how hard it is to balance it all and you do it so well.”

When it came to Dylan, Witney said seeing him “shine and grow each week was such a pleasure to watch — not to mention how down to earth you are!”
She concluded by telling The Traitors alum, “I’m a fan for life.”
One day prior, Witney cried over how touched she was to have won her second mirrorball trophy alongside Robert.
“I seriously have no words. I’m just, like, coming off all the adrenaline and the messages have been incredible,” she said in an Instagram video shared on Thursday, November 27. “It’s been the craziest ride ever. To share this win with someone like Robert [Irwin] is so special.”

Witney revealed that she was “so overcome with emotions” after DWTS cohost Alfonso Ribeiro, with whom she won season 19, announced her victory with Robert.
“We were thinking all day, ’11 years ago that day, I had won with Alfonso,’” she explained. “Eleven has been mine and Carson’s number since his dad passed away. Eleven-eleven has been very significant [to my husband and I]. Eleven years just felt so meant to be. It was crazy.”
Robert, for his part, told E! News on Wednesday, November 26, that he was excited to have a friend for life in Witney after their win. In fact, he shared that she will be heading down under next year to see him.
“Witney’s coming down to Australia,” he told the outlet, which Witney confirmed. “I am, next spring, I’m there. You’re not getting rid of me that easy!” she said with a laugh.
