Inside Rihanna and ASAP Rocky's Night Before the Shooting at Their Home

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky enjoyed a night out before their Los Angeles home was hit by multiple gunshots.

According to photos obtained by Page Six, Rihanna, 38, and Rocky, 37, were spotted on a date at Lucky Strike at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 7. Rihanna sported a gray sweatpants set, white sneakers and a backwards baseball cap. Rocky also wore a casual shirt and hat.

The couple could be seen playing arcade games together. The outlet reported that the musicians had a security team present and stayed at the location until 2 a.m.

Rihanna and Rocky’s outing took place one day before the pair’s mansion was struck by gunshots. The Los Angeles Times reported that Rihanna “was home” when a “suspect fired multiple rounds from inside her vehicle toward the celebrity’s home in Beverly Hills” on Sunday, March 8.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the newspaper that “a round penetrated a wall” of the home at 1:21 p.m. that day. The Times reported that “no injuries” had been reported following the incident, and a female suspect was taken into custody.

NBC News reported that the shooter allegedly used “an AR-15-style rifle.” The incident is being investigated by LAPD’s “elite Robbery-Homicide Division,” per the outlet.

Rihanna lives in the mansion with Rocky and their three children: sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki, 5 months. It is unclear whether Rocky and their kids were present during the incident. Neither Rihanna nor Rocky have addressed the shooting.

Us Weekly reached out to Rihanna’s team and the LAPD on Sunday for comment.

Police identified 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz as the woman who allegedly fired shots into Rihanna’s home. Us confirmed on Monday, March 9, that Ortiz was booked by the LAPD for attempted murder. She is being held on a $10 million bail.

Rihanna and Rocky started off as friends before forming a romantic connection in 2020. They made their red carpet debut as a couple the following year at the Met Gala. Earlier this year, Rocky gushed about how his relationship with Rihanna has impacted his life.
