Kyle Cooke Commented on Amanda Leaving Him Out of 2016 Throwback Before Split
Summer House’s Kyle Cooke seemingly took issue with his now-estranged wife, Amanda Batula, excluding him from a 2016 throwback post days before the pair announced the end of their marriage.
“I guess I was never in your camera roll,” Cooke, 43, wrote in the comments section of Amanda’s post, which featured a montage of photos from 2016 in keeping with the recent online trend.
“2016,” Batula, 34, captioned the post at the time, shared just five days before the pair shared a joint statement via Instagram announcing their split.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” Batula and Cooke wrote in the social media post, shared on Monday, January 19. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

The post continued, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time, since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
Rumors of marital strife between the two reality TV stars first surfaced in November 2025, when a report claimed the couple were living separately amid their relationship struggles. At the time, however, a source close to the couple exclusively told Us Weekly that the aforementioned was not true while acknowledging their hardship.
“They are going through a challenging time,” the insider revealed at the time, adding that the pair were “both committed to making the relationship work.”

Days later, while attending BravoCon 2025 in November, the pair’s Summer House costar Lindsay Hubbard assured Us that the now-estranged couple’s marriage was solid.
“It’s like any relationship, there’s ups and downs,” Hubbard exclusively told Us at the time, reminding fans and viewers that they’ve been privy to Cooke and Batula’s “journey for 10 years” amid their various ups and downs.
“I know that they’re so in love with each other, and they’re very much together,” Hubbard added, before claiming that Cooke and Batula’s rough patch was “no big deal.”
Throughout the former couple’s reality TV journey, fans watched as Cooke and Baulta navigated multiple relationship issues, including his 2018 infidelity confession and their back-and-forth disagreements regarding whether to start a family and have children.
“We’re just trying to find our way and navigating all that with the show and an insanely stressful business that I’m running,” Cooke told Us in February 2024. “It’s a lot. I feel like dogs inadvertently kind of slowed down our baby making … So we’re just taking it one day at a time.”
One year later, Batula revealed that family planning was still an issue for the pair.
Summer House’s Amanda Addresses Reports She's Not Living With Husband Kyle
“He’s gonna have to be on my page. If he could grow the baby, it could be on his timeline. But it’s happening in this body,” she told Us in May. “There was a lot of stuff on this [last] season that was him wanting to be a father, and, like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but he’s having this conversation with other people, and not the person that’s supposed to carry his child. So if he was actively [saying], ‘Hey, I want to have kids. Like, we should start trying to have kids,’ that would be different. That’s not a conversation that we’re having.”
Cooke and Batula’s relationship will once again — and for what could very well be the final time — be on display when Summer House returns for season 10 next month, including a disagreement between the estranged couple over Cooke’s DJ career and more in the official teaser.
