Mormon Wives’ Jessi Draper’s Husband Jordan Denied Restraining Order: Report

Jordan Ngatikaura’s request for a temporary restraining order (TRO) against his estranged-wife Jessi Draper has been denied, Us Weekly has learned.

Jordan’s request was turned down by a judge on Tuesday, March 24, less than one week after he filed for the temporary restraining order. Page Six was first to report the news.

Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Jordan, 31, and Jessi, 33, for comment.

Jordan originally filed for TRO against The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star on Friday, March 20, amid their impending divorce. Us confirmed that Jessi filed her opposition to the request that same day.

The pair’s dueling restraining order requests came one day after Jordan filed for divorce from Jessi, with whom he shares two children, on Thursday, March 19.

“This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart,” Jordan told Us in a statement on Thursday. “I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons. While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported and protected through this transition.”

Jordan, who is part of MomTok’s spinoff group, DadTok, in Utah, continued, “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”

Jessi and Jordan got married in 2020, four years before starring on Hulu’s SLOMW in 2024. As the show took off, their marriage became one of many in the cast thrust under the microscope.

During season 2 of the show, Jessi was accused of cheating on Jordan with Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette. She later confessed to having an emotional affair with the reality star.

“I did feel a connection to [Marciano] in that sense because he was there for me and he made me feel special,” Jessi exclusively told Us ahead of the season 3 premiere in November 2025. “Jordan would put me down a lot. Marciano told me how pretty and cool and fun I was. I felt like there was a connection there because he was giving me something I was lacking. But I wouldn’t say I was in love with him.”

During season 4 of the series, which premiered earlier this month, Jessi confessed she was concerned that Jordan would be “a hard person to be married to” and a “harder person to divorce” while reassessing her prenuptial agreement.

As their split made headlines this month, Jessi remained quiet about the breakup. However, she seemingly broke her silence on Tuesday by sharing a screenshot of a Taylor Swift song via her Instagram Story.

Jessi revealed she was listening to Swift’s “Fresh Out the Slammer,” quoting the lyrics, “But it’s gonna be alright. I did my time.” The song’s premise seemingly hinted at Jessi’s past ups and downs with Jordan and finally breaking free.
